Cradock Branch Activities

February 2005

American History Month was celebrated at the Cradock Branch in a most unusual way!  The One Love Caribbean Steel Drum Band put on a spirited musical program for the library visitors.

Farmer Minor brought Daisy the Pig to the library on March 14th to meet an appreciative crowd of children and adults. Here he is showing the group one of the pig's favorite toys.

The big question before the group was whether this was really 'No Place for a Pig'!  Daisy had her own ideas, and appears to be puckering up for the Branch Manager. You'll have to ask Mr. Rudy how that ended up!

Kevin Sary, the 'Titanic Collector', graciously shared his wealth of Titanic-related knowledge and collectibles with the Cradock community. Kevin resides in historic Edenton, NC, and has had an interest in the Titanic saga going all the way back to a fifth grade report he prepared on the ill-fated ship.

Clint S. Rudy, Cradock Branch Manager, points to a photo of the Cradock Branch imposed on an outline of the Titanic. Both items are to the same scale!Titanic: The Collection was on display at the branch from April 14 - 16.
